Clinical Laboratory Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities: They perform laboratory work to identify, diagnose, and treat diseases. Clinical laboratory technicians use microscopes, laboratory equipment, chemicals and computers to perform laboratory procedures.  They also collect blood specimens and prepare culture media.

Salary: $20,000 – $28,000 

Education: Students should take the most challenging high school courses in, science, math, and English. A bachelor’s degree in the field is normally required, and an associate’s degree in the field or completion of a specialized in-house training program.

Reflection: I would like to be to me a clinical laboratory specialist because it looks interesting and i’m into the medical field.
